Experiential activities at the high school of Pobia and Awareness Event for Educators and Citizens in Pobia
The activities on the topic of “Education for Sustainable Development in the Protected Area of the Asterousia Biosphere Reserve” were presented to 24 students of the 2nd High School of the GEL Pobia in the presence of Nikolaos Toumanidis, Director and teachers of the school. The activities, lasting 2 teaching hours, were carried out by Professor Michael Scoullos, Vassilis Psallidas and Eftychia Korkidis from the MEdIES educational team with the collaboration of Maria Sfakianaki, Anna Martimianaki and Eleni Fanioudaki from the Pedagogical Team of KPEA /KPE Archanon-Rouva- Gouva.
The Awareness Event for Educators and Citizens of the wider region in Pobia of the Municipality of Phaistos for the Asterousia Biosphere Reserve was held in the Events Hall of the GEL Pobia. The event was attended by 28 people, mostly teachers and School Directors, representatives of the local Teachers Associations, Education officials as well as residents from the wider area. A photography exhibition was also held.
